Migrating to AndroidX
Description: The AndroidX maps the original support library API packages into the androidx namespace. Only the package and the Maven artifact names changed; class , method , and field names did not change. Requirements: Android Studio version 3.2 and up Target SDK version 28 i.e P (Pie) Steps: Create/Open project Click Refactor > Migrate to AndroidX The "Migrate to AndroidX" dialog will appear.
